Myrtles View is a self contained, self catering apartment, designed to ensure guests have a private, peaceful atmosphere to relax and enjoy the garden and the harbour. Myrtles View has one queen bedroom, with an en suite. A sofa bed in the lounge, or a roll out bed is available for an extra guest or child. Situated 3 km from the busy town, Myrtles View offers a quiet retreat to relax and 'recharge'. A two minute walk through a well defined, tree fern lined path leads to a harbour beach. Great for swimming when the tide is in, or for walks along the beach as far as you wish to go

An ideal place to stay to explore Raglan and its surroundings

Relax in the open plan lounge, listening to a CD or watching TV. Browse the books, or play Monopoly or Scrabble. Note: we do not referee the games! Have a bubble bath and watch the waterfall, or sit on the deck and enjoy a drink.

The heat pump keeps you cosy in winter and cool in summer.

Well equipped kitchen for those who wish to self cater. Great shops in the township or just bring your food and wine.

Featuring large tree ferns, ferns and an assortment of ‘imported’ trees, our garden is truly a bi-cultural mix. Sitting beside the waterfall and ponds is very relaxing. One of our pleasures is collecting art to complement the plantings. You will see several pieces dotted around the garden. The name of Myrtles View comes from a statue by local artist Hayley Hamilton, called Myrtle the Turtle and the Starcatcher. Myrtle was looking up at the apartment so the apartment is called Myrtle’s View. When the property was sold, Myrtle moved with her owners. Hayley’s work is available through Jet Collective, a co-operative of various artists in Bow Street, Raglan (the main street).

Guests are very welcome to wander through the paths on our section.

Myrtles View is situated at 102B Greenslade Rd Raglan. Greenslade Road is a no exit road on the right coming into Raglan from Hamilton.
